Sobieszewo Island – Gdańsk Sobieszewo is a seaside district of Gdańsk, a 15-minute drive from the city center. It is one of three islands on the Polish Baltic coast. Since 1994, it has held ecological island status, guaranteeing the preservation of its natural environment. Sobieszewo's location near Gdańsk/Tricity and its unique microclimate make it an excellent place for a seaside getaway during a short visit to Gdańsk or a longer vacation.
Sobieszewo Beach
The beaches on Sobieszewska Island are among the widest and most beautiful in Gdańsk, and according to many, on the entire Polish coast. The Blue Flag distinction awarded to the island is a distinction given for promoting ecology, environmental protection, and sustainable development in seaside towns, surrounding swimming areas, and marinas.
